Pumpkin & egg porridge

Alex loves the porridge I cooked for him today. He finished almost 1 & 1/2 times of food. I think that’s about 14oz of food. Possibly that he’s fully recovered and his appetite came back. I hope he eats more and more every day. Pile on more flesh, son. 🙂

Pumpkin & egg porridge

Ingredients

  • Organic brown rice
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbspn of small peas
  • 1 oz of organic pumpkin puree (cooked)
  • 2 oz of threadfin flakes (cooked)
  • 6 oz of stock

Method

  1. Use stock to cook 2 servings of brown rice.
  2. When the porridge is almost done, add the egg and peas in, bring to boil and stir.
  3. Add pumpkin and threadfin. Bring to boil for a short while and switch off the fire.
